Join Run for Something and Disability Victory on August 16, 2023 at 8:00 PM Eastern for a “Claim Your Seat” webinar.

“Electing disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent candidates means more champions fighting for solutions that deeply impact our communities, but they also lack support and face a distinct set of challenges when running for office.

If you're a progressive thinking about running for office — you don't have to go through it alone. During this “Claim Your Seat” webinar, Run for Something (RFS) alums, staff, and partner organizations will process the realities of running for office as a disabled, chronically ill, and neurodivergent candidate, and we’ll help overcome doubts that stop many of us from deciding to run in the first place. We'll also provide guidance and resources to get you started.”

Accessibility: Run for Something will provide automated closed captioning via Zoom and ASL interpreters. You can make additional accommodation requests on your registration form.

This event has concluded, but the recording of the event is available on Run for Something’s YouTube channel. Watch the recording for Claim Your Seat.
